Ofcourse if you've already been to Australia, you'd realize that even if it's considered a big city in Australia, it doesn't nearly have as much people as you're used to in Hong Kong.
Since it's only 45 minutes drive from Sydney, you shouldn't be too bored. :16:
Can't tell you much about the weather, I've never been in Sydney for more than a couple of days at a time. Just be prepared for it being colder than in Hong Kong, and drier too!

wollongong is located at the south of sydney。 you can get there from sydney by train﹐ it will take about 2 hrs for travelling。 there’s a wonderful beach nearby wollongong﹐ wollongong is the best place for studying and a leisure live。 if u expect she is a big city﹐then u will be absolutely disappointed﹐cos it is just a suburb of nsw。 the weather is not bad﹐ it can be very hot at the day time in summer (about38-40)﹐ but the temperature will drop to 18-23 at night。 and therefore﹐the air-conditioner is almost unavailable in every house in wollongong。 u better finish shopping before 4﹕00 pm﹐ cos all the stores are going to be closed at 4﹕00 pm﹐and i‘m sure u can buy nothing from the gateway city mall in the wollongong city after 5﹕00。 but the supermarket and the convenience store are better﹐ they will be closed about 8-10。
